eberbs
Hello, I found an ad for a roots supercharger out of a ae101 4AGZE and was wondering if it would be possible to install it into a AE92 4AF corolla.
Sam_Q
I don't see why not, you could probably bolt up all the block mounted brackets
Kozmo
Anything's possible... but I think it'll be cheaper & easier to pick up an old 4AGZE and bolt it in.
machg
Fueling would be a problem, the supercharger is going to supply more air, which means you will need more fuel to maintain a reaonable air/fuel ratio + with a 4af you would be blowing air through a carburettor which will further compound the lack of fuel problem. It would be a lot cheaper and easier to get a small turbo (with the right sort of seals installed) and run a simple draw-through carby set-up. Depending on what year AE92 it is, it could be a 4AFE and hence EFI

Maybe swap in the head/loom of a 4AFE from a late-model AE92?
