When i make tight turns in my 88 AE92 corolla is sounds like a bearing in the steering column is starting to go.

any suggestions on how to fix this?

sounds like its coming directly behind the wheel.

are they stock rims or aftermarket?

if they are after market then you may have gotten wrong offset and its hitting something,

bearing should be constant squeek all round,

dads ute makes wierd noises under tight turns too and its the power steering pump struggling to push more fluid as its reached the end of the rack

My AE71 gets this aswell. Like eberbs said I was thinking is was coming from the steering column to. Going to get mine checked out on Monday so if I hear anything I will let you know

my ke70 had a sqeak turned out it was the horn button pin and track bit of wd40 fixed it
