son of stig Posted October 11, 2009 Report Posted October 11, 2009 (edited) Hey all, Ive got a KE20 with a 4k, but running the NipponDenso 3K Dizzy (the taller thinner one with external fine adjustment). Ive just replaced the points, does anyone know if the points gap is the same on the Bosch and ND dizzys (.45mm)? Alternately, if anyone has a KE20 workshop manual handy, could you look up what the gap is meant to be? I only have specs for the Bosch. Cheers! Edited October 11, 2009 by son of stig Quote
anastasios Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 hmm why don't you save the trouble and get a 4k one? Quote
towe001 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 About the width of a hacksaw blade. And the dwell is around the 46deg mark Quote

son of stig Posted October 13, 2009 Author Report Posted October 13, 2009 hmm why don't you save the trouble and get a 4k one? decided to go this way, all sweet now. it wasnt the tune at all in the end, the vacuum diaphram on the 3k one was rooted. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 What was the vacuum diaphragm causing it to do?? Not run or?? Quote
philbey Posted October 13, 2009 Report Posted October 13, 2009 Probably just died and had it advanced so it wouldn't run too well at low revs? Quote
