hey i was just wondering if anybody know's the weight distribution front to rear for a ke36 4 door wagon? just wondering as i am looking into possible engine conversions. so just want to see if i can work out the distribution to try and not make it to much weight over the front compared to the rear.

what about ke30 sedan weight distribution? anyone?

I know we could lift greenmac80's 55 shell (totally bare) with 2 guys on the back and 1 on the front. would probably even out somewhat with the engine and suspension up front.

Just aim for 50/50. I doubt you'll hit it but at least it's a goal. It's probably around 55/45.

go with a 5k conversion, should change it much

A friend of mine dropped a 3T in his KE36 and said the extra weight on the front end made it handle better

yeah i just want to know if anyone know's what they are standard. currently my wagon ha a 4k in it. and i have a 3k and a 5k sitting in my uncle's backyard. but yeah, no license for two years so jut looking into options of what to do. more then likely rebuild and turbo the 5k with efi. seems the most logical.

Anyone have any idea at all?

Mate you're in country vic, head down to the silo weighbridge and sweet talk the bird there and see if you can grab your front and rear weights when they get a quiet moment.

 

honestly you're not likely to get a weight distribution on your car, it's a cheap jap wagon, not a sportscar that's built and tuned for racing regulalry.

Ok will have to got try that when I get my license back. So will let everyone know what it is mid 2011 :D

Just found this :D on a supra forum believe it or not lol. People everywhere love ke's ;)

 

KE30 is balanced 50.5% weight over the front wheels and 49.5% over the rear wheels... even the 'awesomely balanced best ever' AE86 is not that even a spread... :wink:

Yea, so something a bit heavier up front would balance it out.....T series.......A series......351........LS7......

I got a 302 Windsor sitting in the shed :) might be a bit much. But got a spare vl diff sitting around the side to balance it back up haha
