Hey all,

There is a Corolla at our local dump/wreackers. Running gear still intact. I don't know one from the other. Square shape, front a bit like my T18, 5speed badge on the boot lid. I was having a quick look and I think it had Ae66 or somthing like that on the comp plate. Body is totaled. I can get the mechanicals for a dozen stubbies. Do you think it would be worth the trouble. It was driven in there and just parked up but our dumpie gets a bit excited when moving cars the with a dozer.

what does the chassis plate actually say,,,ke70, ae71, ae86, ae92?

if its an ae86 then youve found a BARGAIN if its a ae71 then still a bargain.

its 2 six packs, give em corona and they'll be happy as hell and youll get a car

Got a pic. It is a kE55 Friend got it for a 6pack and by the pic you'll see why.

I think its a KE55... I wouldn't call that square shaped, not when the ones after were complete boxes (KE70, AE71, AE82).

Maybe the Dozer squared it up a bit and I didn't have me specs on!

Being a square head-light '55 it'll also have a rear sway bar. That'll get you at least a carton if you sell it here, then you're 3x six-packs up on the purchase price!!! :blush:
