towe001 Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 S1 = chrome bars, no rear swaybar, regular square headlights S2 = plastic bars, rear swaybar, long wrectange headlights series 2 where very rare in aus S1 went from aprox 79-82 Your kidding about the S2 aren't you ?! The T-18 i had was a series 2 - didn't mind the look of the front end but i hated the rear end, always wanted to swap the plastic crap over to the chrome bar to smooth the arse a bit Quote
LukeAE71 Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 well I have not seen many Series 2, but maybe people didn't buy them coz they made an ugly car even uglier  Quote
Gspec Posted April 24, 2010 Report Posted April 24, 2010 The series 2also had 2 door handles per door, One for the front seat and one for the rear seated passengers. And they had the "Mercedes" tails lights, a different bonot, black "B" pills covers and the mirrors are at the corner of the the door glass. As for ugly, I must be looking at the wrong cars coz when they are done right the old TE72's looks pretty dam good to me. Quote
