SLO-030 Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 the old person body strips down the side of the car, the ones that always seem to be in the wrong spot when someone opens the door against your car. care fully peel them off, be cautious not to take the paint off with it. then clean it up the sticky residue thats left with wax and grease remover. fusion Posted December 4, 2009 Report Share Posted December 4, 2009 Use something like a plastic scrapper, or if your using a metal piece at least wrap some cloth rag around it. daggers57 Posted December 5, 2009 Report Share Posted December 5, 2009 try using Shellite it works well on pin stripes by softening the glue it's available from hardware stores next to the metho and turps.
