anything to do with changing from steering box to rack

havnt seen it done to a 30/55 mate.

 

A ke70 has a rack, this would be the obvious first place to look i guess.

 

I was keen to put one in mine, but it is not an easy thing to get mods approved for here in qld, so i havnt bothered.

yeah well I'm in vic the the car is a 55 with a 4k turbo set up so I'm willing to try anything but i was thinkin a 70 one but didnt know if there was something else the only thing I'm worried about is the bumb rebound.....

No! Totally different car my friend. You can MODIFY it to fit, but not a straight bolt in.

well that sucks a fat one unless andone has any info or even tryed and failed the info would be good but it looks like I'm just gunna have to drag te dangle grinder and welder out on the bush bomb and try something

Yeah like seabiscuit said its not just that easy. The chassis rail in the engine bay are quite a bit wider in the Ksev compared to the '55 so there your first major obstacle.
