Who Has The Best Stereo

Featured Replies

I will as soon as I finish tuning the 3TGTE... Not only sounds meaty as, it goes like stink too!

What more sound do you need other than the melodious tune of revving engine, waste gate and squeeling tires?

pig: twin carb 4age. What else is needed

camry: pioneer deck, type S 4 inchs up front, type S 6 1/2 inch splits in the rear. Have an amp just looking for a type S sub at resonable price.

All waiting to go in:

Alpine 9882 Headunit

4x 200w RMS 6" Splits

2x 1000w peak 10" Subs

1x 1500w peak monoblock amp

1x 4x350w peak 4ch amp

Sorting out cables/etc, and enclosures for the speakers in the doors, and all should be sweet. Hope to rattle the rust out ;)

Any one got an original Toyota stereo?

The one in the KE is still hooked up to the speaker, except the antenna plug has been taken out and used in the aftermarket headunit - it still powers up and you can still hear the gentle 'hum' from it ;)

For what it's worth, the aftermarket headunit has been installed infront of the gearshifter.

in front of the shifters the way to go. If its a ke70 try find a panel van console. Its got screw holes in it already for brackets. And looks heaps better imo. I think ive got a spare one.

Also, chris ive got the stock toyota stereo/tape player from my 82 camry. Why you asking about them?

btw josh some one abandoned a ke70 panel van never my place

ahhh! Is it still there?

Wonder if garnett will go pick it up for me haha
