Jono.C Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 gday guys.. thinking of converting the rear drums to disk on a ke30 so i can run hydro handbrake and would just prefer to run disks.. is it a hard job? can i just get the front assembely off another ke30 and put it on the back? I'm guessing ill need a different brake master cylinder? ive been told that because its such a light car the disk brakes wont be as effective.. anyway cheers in advance |blink| Quote
corollaart Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 don't have to run disc rear to have hyd handbrake, work very well with drums. As for converting you can convert to t series diff (t18,early corona, etc) Then convert using 141,142 avante rear disc set up ,as it bolts to t series diff. Which I'm doing atm,but using ra40 diff. rob Quote
jason12 Posted February 6, 2010 Report Posted February 6, 2010 You can also use the rear end out of an r31, usually need to shorten the axles and do some other stuff though Quote
