hi, what year falcon seats are you using? and does anyone know if they will bolt into a 1982 kp starlet?

up to 87 (XF Falcon seats)

 

fairmont, fairlane and falcon seats will all fit in (heresay).

and i doubt that they'll fit your starlet

got myself an ae92 corolla. besides the obvious changes like sx seats, levin GTZ seats and ae90/ae94/ae94/a93 yada yada....

 

i was wondering what other seats would bolt up or can be done with little modifications?

 

has anyone heard/know/trialled any?

 

id love to get a pair of celica GT seats... :D

mine were from a friend of dads in SA, unsure who, everyone should know someone that knows someone.... ask around!!

I've got some SW20 seats in my KE70. Had to make up my own brackets for the rails though.

 

 

They're top seats.

Can't say I know if they're ADM or JDM seats, Nick. As didn't get them off the owner of the MR2.

 

Didn't think there would be any differences between the two? I really hope that there isn't... could of saved a whole lot of time if JDM seats fit straight in. :P

Ouch, never would of guessed there would of been differences. But these definitely didn't seem like they wanted to bolt straight in to the '70.

 

Oh well... needed some practice welding anyway. :P

has anyone ever looked at paseo seats? i saw sum at the wreckers, cus a totalled paseo was in front of a rolla, so i thought i wuld have a look, and those seats r quite 'buckety'. wouyldnt mind finding out if they fit, cus they r sexc seats.. ill post a pic if i can find one..

any 2 small door seats would go well in a corolla, and i don't think they'd be that hard to make fit

 

i heard last week that aw11 seats are a straight bolt in to ke3/5 rails

For those in vic any seats that aren't a factory option need to be engineerd. I'm currently looking at FTO seats at about 270$ a pair at local wreckors.

that's a pretty good price. a mate of mine has an fto, i've often drooled over (not on) his seats

the 87 seca i bought today has MUCHLY better seats then my old 88 hilux 2 doorute I just killed, but interesting I now have a car I can cahnge the seats in...

Chances are Ill be changing the ones in mine as the doodat thingy you lift on lower right hand side to adjust vertical position of the back part of drives seat doesnt make seat go up all the way and I feel almost like I'm laying down in the seat, think it might need some "tweaking"
