Super Jamie Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 (edited) nobody makes a spacer for the stock carby, the adapters we have are to put a weber carburettor on the stock manifold, as the base patterns are different, they just happen to be taller as well just make one out of something solid like metal or maybe high density plastic. not wood Edited July 25, 2005 by Super Jamie Quote

Super Jamie Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 the spacers in all our photos are aluminium. i'd expect you could get a 50mm block of it for under us$50 Quote

kangaroosa Posted July 25, 2005 Report Posted July 25, 2005 I had one of these spacers too. I did exactly the same thing as Jamie to fit my DGV weber. Lynx Corp makes them, and they can be purchased in most auto parts shops. However mine was only 16-18mm. It also comes with bent studs and the casting of the adaptor plate allows for the bends. Was your intended spacer plate for a Stock carby or aftermarket? Lynx Corp Just click on Carby Adaptors and Insulators ---> then carby adaptors. Quote
