Hey guys, just brought some new wheels but there isnt enough thread for them to bolt one more than 3 or so turns. Can anyone tell me how long / thread pitch etc the stock ones are so i can get some longer ones.

Cheers, Jason

You need these nuts prob. They thread into the wheel instead of tightening on top of it. This ones about 40mm. don't know the tech name for them.

They're called shank nuts, and only work if the hole in the wheel is larger than the stud. If not, then you'll need longer wheel studs instead.

Ah sweet. Places like autobarn / supercheap etc should stock them yeah? Also any info on the studs still would be great in case that idea fails

measure the width of the stud and the width of the hole in your wheel. My shank nuts are 16mm if your hole in ya wheel is 16mm(ish) its prob what ya need. If the studs are snug to your wheel holes you prob need longer studs.

EDIT: repco etc should have them if not try a local tyre shop. Or even a wreckers maybe. Your local tyre shop will have advice either way.
