is it me being blind but it seems my ae82 is lacking a front sway bar, was it an option for top end models?

 

The Twincam models had front and rear swaybars as standard.

No 4age engine = No swaybars sadly

Yeah, sorta. It's mounted on the lower control arms and also on the body

You will have to drop the exhaust to install it

Edit The swaybar in the pic is upside down
