jono1986 Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 (edited) Maybe G = Gauge, W = Warning light. Check the resistance between the two wires and earth with the engine off and then when it's running; the W one might go straight to earth e.g. for the warning light and the G one will be variable resistance..........MAYBE Edited June 26, 2010 by jono1986 Quote
Evan G Posted June 26, 2010 Author Report Posted June 26, 2010 nah the warning light is on when theres less than 10psi of oil pressure or when i short it to ground and shows 0 Quote
jono1986 Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 Ah... i thought maybe the sender would have had an inbuilt W/L output for older type dashboards Quote
Trev Posted June 26, 2010 Report Posted June 26, 2010 cheers trev, so whats W then? Wank factor? Switched feed like a light but if it does not work try hooking the earth to the W terminal, I installed some MARS performance gauges into a customers car and I only had to hook up to the G. Quote
Evan G Posted June 26, 2010 Author Report Posted June 26, 2010 ill put it to signal wire to W and swap em over when I'm running in my cam, in the meantime i got the stock sender on the T peice to make sure i got oil pressure Quote
