Not a fan of going through a dealer, but with RWC and rego it may just be worth it.

Seems reasonable with rego an rwc... CSX trim with a/c... I'd buy it.

 

There is a few advantages buying from a dealer too... One being the 30 day statutory warranty. If any RWC item fails in the first 30 days, dealer has to fix it :)

Rust in arches and under boot tyre. I say go it.

Well as long as my car sells this weekend (guy coming down with cash tomorrow or Sunday depending on when he has to work) then i'll catch the train up there and drive it to VicRoads then home :)

 

Also, interested in a Ford KB Laser for sale for $1650 with RWC but no rego. Its a toss up between the two.

You can talk him down a little bit as well, just remember someone would of traded it in for a couple of hundred so you could probably get 15% or little more off

You can do a

of good mods with a Laser.

We paid $1800 for an auto from a dealer with 110,000km on. A good buy really as it was unthrashed and in great condition inside and out.

 

Start looking for the K50 box & pedal box!

Neat car :)

Looks like it has a little rust behind the drivers rear mud flap.

Other side is missing a mud flap, which says to me it may have had rust repairs there. Check for bog

And check boot wheel well, and the inner arch from inside the boot for rust

Looks like a few lil oil leaks

Has a tacho dash, which is a little odd if it is a CS auto (but as Shady said, its got csx trim)

Check the inside leading edge of the bonnet for rust too

& around the fuel flap

Front bumper is bent in a little

 

I'd prolly buy it, you should be able to knock that price down a fair bit.

Okay, well, I'm going on Friday to have a look-see at it :)

 

Ill be having a fair old look at it, going over it with not only a magnet, but a fine-tooth comb.

 

May need somebody to come with me to help with the bargaining though..
