Trying to work out what that engine is.....doesn't look like any Toyota 4 that I know of, especially with the alternator where it is

They didn't, it was a failed attempt by racer Andy Rouse at a factory-approved entry but basically fell though

Dunno of any 2l toyota motors with intake at the front either.
