i have been in the process of replacing my rotors and pads etc on my ae95 but unfortunately i lost some parts

 

i have lost a little pin/spring thingo that i believe pushes out the pads when they are being worn i don't want to have to drive out to u pull it and find it

 

sorry bout the description i know its a bit vague but i can't find it in any diagrams i really want to get the rolla back on the road

Those are just anti-rattle spring clips, they don't affect the function or power of the braking system, just reduce a little bit of the noise and wear by assisting the separation of the pads from the rotors when the brakes are released.

 

I always forget to swap the buggers over when I do brake pad changes.

so they are not really crucial i can do the brakes whithout them???

 

how much noise

 

is it worth waiting till i find them?

 

Well, I've been driving without them for the last few months, with no real increase in noise and certainly no problems with braking.
