Hiro Protagonist Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 Those are just anti-rattle spring clips, they don't affect the function or power of the braking system, just reduce a little bit of the noise and wear by assisting the separation of the pads from the rotors when the brakes are released. I always forget to swap the buggers over when I do brake pad changes. Quote
ae95- wagon kid Posted September 8, 2010 Author Report Posted September 8, 2010 so they are not really crucial i can do the brakes whithout them??? how much noise is it worth waiting till i find them? Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 so they are not really crucial i can do the brakes whithout them??? how much noise is it worth waiting till i find them? Well, I've been driving without them for the last few months, with no real increase in noise and certainly no problems with braking. Quote
