Here's the story

 

My original car is 1977 corolla 4 speed manual

Hasn't been on the road for a few years due to a prang

The running gear and interior are overrated as well as the front panels.

Month's ago I picked up a reasonably straight minimal rust 1980 2door rolla coupe manual ex paddock bomb, no starter motor, drive shaft, radiator and it's never been started since I've got it.

My aim is to get the 2 door registered by sticking the running gear from the 77 into the coupe

I would like to keep the spend of this build low, and work with what I got.

i'm guessing the original 5hp/4kw gain the 4k had over the 3k is now gone, and i know the 3k is genuine low kms

slow progress, partial engine bay cleared (carburetor and associated piping removed, water pump and associated piping, intake and exhaust manifolds off and rusty as hell battery tray all out.

 

Question: Should i remove the break booster and use the one out of the ke30 or would that be a waste of time? the 55's got some surface rust on it.
