laa_80e Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 hi all, i have a ke16 but it keeps blowing a fuse, the fuse that keeps blowing is the sixth one from the top, if anyone has the cover that tell you what fuse goes were please send me a pic so i stop hacking at my wiring deeper and deeper!! I'm sure a ke10 or 11 or 15 may have the same fuse box cover or and digrams etc please your help will be greatly appreciated, thanks all Quote

parrot Posted December 10, 2010 Report Posted December 10, 2010 6 from the top in a 10 fuse block is the park fuse going by the manual, though my cover is missing so cannot double check I am looking at it the right way up. Quote
laa_80e Posted December 13, 2010 Author Report Posted December 13, 2010 thanks guys , it was doing in my head, ill double check it in the morning and ill let youz know what it is, my parker lights work fine, but my horn has stopped iv diagnosed the horn but no fault or short there so I'm guessing sumthn else!!! cheers fellaz! parrot Posted December 13, 2010 Report Posted December 13, 2010 OK, confusion reigns. For my post above, I looked at the body supplement manual which has a photo of a fusebox. HOWEVER, the layout of fuses in that, is different to that set out in the later body group manual which includes Sept 1969 production. From the top in the later manual, which is a Corolla 1100/1200 manual. Main R 10A Main L 10A Dim R 10A Dim L 10A Tail 10A Horn 10A Lighter 20A Heater 5A Wiper 15A Turn 15A From the top in the earlier manual, which is a Corolla 1100 manual (from April 1968 production) Main R 10A Main L 10A Dim R 10A Dim L 10A Tail 10A Park 10A Horn 20A Gauge 5A Wiper 15A Turn 15A So presumably yours is a later fuse block. The owners manual has no reference to the fuse block that I can see. Quote
