Twincam16seca Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 (edited) Hi all, I am looking at buying a 4agze off a mate, but I'm not sure how or if i can I.D the motor as far as knowing what car it came from e.g mr2 ae92 ae101? I know the later models had MAP sensor and earlier had AFM, it doesnt have the airbox, loom or ECU with it. If its MAP sensor where is it located on the manifold? I also know that it runs CAS not dizzy, so its either been converted or its a "later" version... thanks for the help Edited December 14, 2010 by Twincam16seca Quote
Des Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Early ae92 was CAS but afm. Air temp sensor in the afm. Late ae92 was CAS but map. Air temp sensor in the inlet manifold. Mr2 were all dizzy and afm. Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted December 14, 2010 Report Posted December 14, 2010 Late ae92 was CAS but map. Air temp sensor in the inlet manifold. As was AE101. Quote
