If you used a 7afe block with a 4age head you would have a heap more compression wouldnt you? 11:1 or something.. :hmm:

Somewhere between about 9.5 and 11 depending on head and piston combination's. But should be around 10.5:1

If I can refer you to this thread... This particlar 7AGTE makes 500hp aka 386kw at the wheels on 27psi

That is basically forged rods, forged pistons, stock 20V blacktop head.. He has done another engine build now with more work.. But that figure was on a fairly basic setup

 

Just thought id put it out there, with his entire setup though, with supporting mods it wouldn't work out cheap lol

 

As far as I know it works out about .5:1 higher than what pistons you have used.. EG: 8.5:1 equals 9:1 ish.. I may be incorrect

I'm not a member of TC so i can't see the thread. unless its just because I'm on the ibone. if it cranks that much hp i don't mind having a bigger budget. i may hold off buying the new kluger to spend a bit more on the c rolla
