B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) Your rails aren't even? Parallel I mean? Like this maybe?? Maybe take the seat out and make sure the rails are locked to the extreme fron or back of the seat. I know on the ksev the rails are one locked and one free rail but your might be both locked and they have gone out of alignment with each other. EDIT: If you were at Bribie now I'd be able to come help :P Edited January 19, 2011 by blzbub666 Quote
Mason. Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 (edited) not sure :| its shit lol like all the hole's will match up, but there slighty out. and when i go to do up the bolts they get half way then loosen. so the bolt is going in on a angle :( I'm over it... burning it edit- retarded spelling Edited January 19, 2011 by Mason. Mason. Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 uneven rails :) got one in cheers man Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 No worries. Its usually something simple, at least they didn't force them in somehow. My boss used a pinch bar to 'adjust' his rails into place. And they work. :blinks: Quote
PHATKE20S Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 By the way Mason, they are KE36 seats from an early wagon........... Quote
Mason. Posted January 19, 2011 Author Report Posted January 19, 2011 ohh nice haha didnt know that :) Quote
Hiro Protagonist Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 I find the best way to put seats in is to slide the rails fully forward and then "hook" the front of the rails over the chassis in place - put bolts in the holes but don't tighten them up fully. Then, slide the seat fully forward and line the rails up at the rear, then tighten the bolts all round. The key is to not have the weight of the seat over the area where you are doing up bolts, both for access and taking the pressure off the bolts and the rails which makes it easier to align. Quote
