Well guys after more problems than i care to mention, the beast is finally up and running, as the engine is still yet to be run in, we have not done a complete power run, in fact we havent even pushed the engine yet, with a leaking inlet manifold and a waste gate that wouldnt stay shut, and an engine that had done less than 15kms, with no timing we were happy to see a positive 228rwkw with much much more to come, so now to get some kms into the engine and then get the manifold rewelded, a new waste gate and regulator, plus an E Boost on to the car and ramp up the timing, and bring on 480+RWKW ;)

Dyno sheet for you veiwing pleasure

Little by little, 228rwkW is a good start. And there are lots of potential, so lets wait you have fix those minor things and have few more km to it.

It´s really nice looking, good job ;)

Edit: Correction.

Adam took the car out for his first session today at an undisclosed location, and the thing went off, we were in a chase car and doing 160kmph+ and Adam boosted it in 4th and was cutting loose at 180+, lets just say he had the sakes for about 40min after the testing session, but one down side it chew up, muched on and spat out a gearbox, which is what I was expecting, but not so soon, so we have just finished changing the box in readyness for tomorrow night, so I am going to get some sleep as it is going to be a big day today.

cheers

and then

The other good new is that the engine is back out of the car and in the process of being checked, the engine developed an over oiling issue on the track, it may be contributed to the larger than normal ring gaps that have been used to ensure that the engine will handle the boost we are planning to make, so to be safe I have pulled the engine back out ( this has to be done in order to fit the new gearbox) and it will go back to Lewis engines to be pulled down and checked before being refitted when the gear box is ready to go back in.
