Just wanting to know the difference between the ke55 hardtop models "CS" and "XX"

i figure the owners manual would have the info in it but sadly i don't have one.

don't quote me but my 55 xx had velour inserts on the seats ,and map pockets in the door trims.

 

It also had funky xx badges.Other than that i couldnt see much differance.

By observation and having a brochure on the early/late model ke55 xx hardtops the differences are.

 

XX alloys in 13"

Veleuor trimmed seats

Opulent looking map pockets

5 Speed gearbox as standard

Pinstriping in gold or silver, either wideband or narrow band

 

Late model ke55 XX hardtops had all of the above however,

XX square headlight grille had chrome inserts which went along both the horizontal bars.

The normally chromed bumperbars were then colour coded to the body.

5 speed as standard, man my 55 hardtop which had "XX" badges in the boot, only has a 4 speed in it(will double check), no idea on the pin striping been painted a few times. might have to check out the gold one on friday.

Yeah most 3X series had sumitomo and all 5X series had girlock
