moot
has anyone here mini tubbed a ke55? legally in nsw you can tub to the chassis rail, and i reckon i might be able to squeeze a 275/50/15 in there. mainly after some advice from people who have done it and what there results were. some pics would be nice too

Taz_Rx
Don'treally need to mini tub for that sort of tyre size. Considering i can get +42 wheels with 205's on the rear of mine I'm sure you could push the other 70mm out with the right offset and a good lip or roll. oh what a nissan feeling!
yeh it has been done, as you can see there is about 1-2 inches to be had before the rail. Leaf springs also need to be moved. Would fit a 10 inch rim under quite well i would think, as 8S fit under pretty well untubbed.
moot
i've had 245's on 9" simmons under a standard rear end. but i think if i move the springs in and go to the rail i should be able to do it.i just havent seen it done in a corolla.(n ot saying it hasnt been done)

love ke70
are you dragging the car or doing it for looks? moving the leaf springs inboard is quite likely to have a rather negative effect on handling
