hey, just wanted to get some opinion on what you think of it and what i should do to it.

here it is, its my first car and I'm still 3 months of my L's, i don't wanna do anything stupid to it, i want to keep it a head turner for the right reasons give it a lower and some non overeactant rims on it to get it out of the granny spec range. (not the best of pics but it has no scratch, dints or rust)

First of all welcome and nice car.

 

There is no way you'll be able to get it to drift being on your P's.

 

The P plater resctrictions will not allow you to do anything, plus its a wagon with leaf springs.

 

Chuck on some tasteful rims and lower it a bit and enjoy it, or take the advice above. :wink:

or you can keep it and do whatever you want to it because it's your car and your money :)

 

 

looks heaps clean mate. more low and some nice wheels and you got yourself a nice cruiser for your p's that will fit a few eskies in the back

all i really want is constructive critism, i mainly want a nice clean car that turns heads for when i get my p's, just a nice clean cruiser. :)

yeah, I'm looking at getting some CSX alloys and give them a good polish (for the mean time then advantually get some nice meshies or superlites , then yeah drop it like 2 inches, would you suggest just getting 2inch lowering blocks to lower the back? and just order some peddlers for front

Ah ok.

 

Lowering blocks would be your easiest option. At least that way, you can remove them and bring it back to stock height.

What's your opinion on a performance carby airflow filter? Worth a try since they are only like 50$

Hey mate, welcome. Really nice looking wagon you have there...

 

Heres my opinion.. Don't drift it. It's too clean. Don't buy an air filter, they are a waste of money.

 

Save your cash and get some nice rims and lower it a bit, and just enjoy the great reliability, fuel economy and practicality that these little beauties were designed for...

 

In the meantime have a look around the site. Most of what you want to know is already on here it's just a matter of finding it.

ive made my little list of things to do for it over the next 1.5 years so i have a nice clean fresh lookin car with a bit of aftermarket power for my p's :D ill keep this post updated so you guys can help me with the do's and don't's.

Hey mate. What a really nice Wagon you've got yourself there. It's quite funny, 'cause I'm 3 Months from my Learner's myself. Any more Pics of this Beauty? :)

 

As of the above Suggestions: Lower it 1" or 2" all round, Throw on a nice set of 14s, Chuck in a 5K with a 32/36 Weber and 5-Speed, and you'll have yourself a Nice and Clean Shag-Wagon. ;)

 

But please, don't try to Drift it. It's too clean and too Grandma-Spec. If anything, you'll only get some Peg Action out of these, which I find more fun. :yes:

"keeping original" and "some what drift capabale" are opposites... you can't have pieces of both those cakes.

 

The boys here are right.. lower it.. some nice wheels... enjoy it.

 

The sad fact is that most of us on our P's have had an "incident" at some point that makes a mess of our nice cars.. we all knew better and were more invincible than the next bloke.. but it still happened. Leaving her mostly stock will be good for you :)
