May 8, 201115 yr comment_522674 give us a bigger pic? check if its a postive or negative wire when the igntion is on. i think i had the same problem as you, i connect it and it wouldnt start so i removed it and tapped it up (don't DO THIS AS YET) Report
May 8, 201115 yr comment_522680 Looks like a coil and the wire from the ballast resistor. It shoulld be hooked up to the negative side of the coil. It could be that you have your wires mixed up. Edited May 9, 201115 yr by GJM85 Report

May 8, 201115 yr Author comment_522700 the thing where the wire comes out of is a little tube thing with two wires coming out of it. 1 is a black one that goes into the loom, and this one is yellow that goes????? theres another rectangle thing next to it that has a wire going to the positive side of coil. the other side of rectangle box doesnt have any wire hooked up to it. i don't think its supposed to cos the nut is old and hasnt been tampered with. will try to get a bigger pic up tomorrow.. cheers Report

May 9, 201115 yr comment_522777 Ballast resistor on the negative side? No. yeah my bad. the negative side of the coil needs to be grounded. the positive should run from the power/ignition and the ballast resistor there also. Report
