hey guys

 

just wondering infomation on " The Hotdog Muffler "

 

Has anyone put one on a worked 4k?

 

I'm just wondering where to position it? ( near extractors or at the end )

 

how loud would it be with it and straight through 2" exhaust.

 

and any other infomation for weather i should or shouldnt get one

 

all info is apreciated and thankyou.

dw about that bs!

 

get a Hyundai excel center muffler and remove your corolla rear muffler and weld the excel one in!

 

great note. silent when cruising in 5th!. prob not legal but its awesome

 

best $20 spent. and keybanger proof :D

What the other guys have said^^. Without a proper muffler on the end you'll go deaf.

 

hot dogs take out some of the droney note, make it a bit deeper.

 

 

My worked 4K had a hot dog and a decent sports muffler (no idea brand/model), it was tested at more than 70dB at 20+ metres!!

 

When I had passengers they complained about not being able to hear anything :lolcry:

Put it in the middle, but put a sports muffler on the end or you'll go deaf. Trust me.

 

 

My setup is similar to this. I find it pretty fun for short trips and it sounds good, but for longer trips it gets annoying. Especially cruising at 100km/h for long periods of time. It SUCKS. Can't hear music and at the end of the trip your ears are ringing :bash:
