I think they're KE55s, one obviously has square headlights in round housings. Couple of Ke70s still, a handful of Celicas, and some Coronas I didn't bother to photograph. A couple of Tercels buried in there too. I didn't see any 4AGEs, but I wasn't sure which FWDs to look in.

 

Plenty of rustfree & dentfree panels, doors are $150 each.

I got my xt130 strut and lower control arms from the Orange wreckers. I got a shock when I went to their yard. Didn't expect so much cool old stuff and the guys there were really cool to deal with

Also last time I went there was one 4age in an ae82 twincam but it looked a bit gutted

pitty there is that dent right on the chrome mould on that white ke55 :bash: the rest is straight as !!

Any old RT40 coronas laying around in there.

Not that I've seen.. which means if there are any they are in the 'pile to the sky' of all the cars he doesn't expect to sell anything off & there won't be a straight panel on them!

oops- they're cleaning up the pile... A pair of over-length B-trains and a mobile compactor !! :o

 

That's a blue flat-front that's just come in beside a Datsun 200B. I hope they're not heading for the compactor. He said there's a KE55 they will pull in next week, but one of his guys is driving it around at the moment. That looked a bit rough, it was in the carpark outside.

I think about it myself, I much prefer the flat front look..

 

Couple of hundred bucks will buy what you need... The nice thing is that they are usually rust-free.

 

 

me to and i just bought quad headlights and mine is still a slant front .. cause a mate said he knew where a flat front was.. went and checked it out today and it was a slanty lol :bash:

Great Western Auto Wreckers, & there is another big wrecker in Cowra I think it is, although I haven't been to see what they have.

 

These days KEs are being driven into the wreckers, nothing wrong with them except rego has expired...

 

As for the stuff parked out the back of local farms........

Would yous know what kinda freight it would cost from orange to port macquarie 2444? its like 600km away :(

Local panelbeater charged me $800 to truck down to Sydney, pick up TWO cars and come back. One on the lowloader and one on the front lift harness behind. So that was 500km for $400/car.

 

Just phone a trucking company- or grab a big car and a car trailer.
