just wondering if a ke55 gearbox bolts to a ke70?Do i need to change anything? thanks

you need to change the tail housing as the ke55 rear housing is different to the ke70, different mount and gearshift position.

ke30/50 to ke70 extension housings are different in the shifter linkages, so in a word, no it doesn't fit. unless you cut a hole in the floor

If you change the extension housing, it will work fine. I have a 5 speed out of a KE70 in my KE35

yip just change the rear housing and it will be ok to use.

It doesn't work with 4 speeds however.

I thought it worked if they were both 4 speeds?
