I cannot seem to find a definitive answer on this... Does the 1978 KE30 with a four-speed manual come with a center console or not. Mine doesn't have one, but I was wondering if it maybe just disappeared over the last 32 years. Thanks.

I've seen some without and some without. You might be able to grab one from a wrecker, also KE55 might be the same or may fit?

I'm prety sure it was a dealer option back in the day because the console came with the fancy tape player

Depended on the trim level to if it came with one.

Base model (or basic trim) didn't

Mid model (or mid trim level) did

and the top of the line did and also came with the tape deck.
