ancullen Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 (edited) Tell him to actually post on the site: See, no posts yet. Sorry to be a downer, but there are currently: 352 members who have never posted 138 members who have only posted once 87 members who have posted twice 111 members who have posted 3-5 posts 53 members who have posted 6-10 times 72 members who have posted 11-20 times Leaving 187 members who have posted 20 times or more This means that of the current post count of 84762 posts (including this post), 84450 posts have come from only 423 members. In fact, the 187 members who have posted 20 times or more have been the ones making up most of that 84450 posts, about 83000 at a guess. Now I'm not trying to endorse quantity over quality, however, how many of those people who have only ever posted once or twice have really made a valuable contribution to RollaClub? Everyone out there needs to get on the back of these people that only post once or twice and then never return, and encourage them to stay with the club to help improve their own knowledge as well as improving ours. When I see 1000 members who are actually making a valuable contribution to the club, then I'll be happy. That's my rant for the week. Edited November 30, 2005 by ancullen Quote
ancullen Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Thanks Nick, it's a pity I won't have time to organise much for next year (won't be doing anything in May, June, or July due to wedding). But we should still fit in a few events, and with any luck I might be able to convince a few members to 'represent' on the Rejex Rally in August. Congratulations to you on RollaClub achieving 1000 members though. I didn't mean to ruin the occasion, it just seemed like a good time to remind people of the need to try and maintain members. While I was checking out all these facts and figures, I discovered that around 72,000 of the posts on RollaClub have come from only 50 members! That leaves about 12,000 posts between the other 950 members!!! And Nick, you've posted almost 20% of all the posts on RollaClub. :hmm: Quote
Super Jamie Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 who needs a stats page, just ask ancullen :hmm: Quote
ancullen Posted December 1, 2005 Report Posted December 1, 2005 I'm just full of useless information. People are always telling me I'm full of it. Quote
