Hilux Diff

hey all I'm goin down the road of 4age transplant into my ke70,,iv been advised to go with a hilux diff? does any model hilux diff fit with mods?

 

what diff would you reccomend other than a luxy diff?

Well what mods will the 4age be running? will you be bashing skids and what not? I'd go a t18 T series, bolt in, strong, light and easy to fit

it wont be running any crazy mods it will be rebuilt before it goes in though

RA60 celica diff is another option too. Not sure on mounts etc though

ST141 Corona. Bolts in, Strong as and if you get one from an Avante spec Corona, It will have 280mm disc brakes.

 

Mate was running one in his V6 KE70, much abuse and not a problem.

 

Also, It will bolt up to a standard KE70 tailshaft.

^^ You might gain a bit of track with that though ryan, so you'd be limited to shitty + offset wheels

just while there is yet another diff thread going, i read somewhere that a r31 diff will actually go in with out cutting it shorter ? how much longer will the track be ?

 

and yes i do realise all the mounts have to be converted etc. will the tail shaft bolt straight up though ?
