ae861616 Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 hey everyone, I'm from ireland and i have a ce70 panel van, its a great little runnaround, but over the past few months ive been looking for more power out of it, and instead of goin down the routes of 4age etc, I'm sticking to diesal purely for economy and putting in a 2ct, as i have a ke70 estate with 4age running gear also for the weekends. my question is has anyone ever done it before?? or have a link about more info on this? my plan at the mo is to buy a fwd 2ct, and change over all the rwd stuff (from a spare rwd 1c engine that i have lieing around),, water lines and pumps, sump, and orther brackets and stuff to make it fit will it be as simple as i think it will be or is their something major that I'm leaving out?? also any ideas of how il work the wiring??? all help/info, big or small will be greatly appreciated..... thanks brian Quote
Trev Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 If both engines have the same external setups then it will be a simple change over as the block is the same height, do you have the injectors and pump for the 2ct? Quote

Trev Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 ok, thought you meant you had one lined up, if you buy a complete engine then you 'should' only have to do the cooling system and mounts. Reason I asked about the pump is it will most likely be boost referenced where as the 1c pump will not. Quote
Teddy Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 i would LOVE to see photos of this van of yours =D esp the motor hahha Quote
