FOOMAN Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 I did love this car after reading towe's thread. Look after her! Autosol has good reports with polishing up chrome :D Quote
ae824ate Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Gday Dave, good buy on the '30, we all hope it is in good hands. You are on Ramsay st right? Looked familiar. Plans for it sound good, best of luck with it! Luke. Quote
Stenzel Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) Not my house, just keeping her in the shed at my grandparents place while I get it regoed, Are you the Luke who has taken Zowie's Pannelvan? If so I'd love to see more pictures of it. Yeah the little thing will be in good hands, not going to do anything crazy on her, just get her back to showroom condition (Hopefully). Thanks, Dave Edited November 20, 2011 by Stenzel Quote
ae824ate Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Yeah mate, the same Luke. I used to live next door to Zowie, he is a great bloke. I don't want to start another rides thread on her, I'm keeping it to myself for now. But if you look a "Mason"s old thread there is heaps of pics of it, also Zowies thread. Cheers, Luke. Quote
nerfbat Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 (edited) heya mate, i had a good feeling when you and your pop's turned up, it wouldnt have been choppped, sticker slapped or any other crazy thing..! its why i let the car choose you over those other 'special people' who turned up, while you guys were checking her out :-P i feel its gone to good hands, all the best with it mate. make use of the FAQ's and the search feature, so you don't get punished like a lot of 'new to the forum' people do, and enjoy your stay here :-) Edited November 20, 2011 by nerfbat Quote
Stenzel Posted November 20, 2011 Author Report Posted November 20, 2011 Thanks Zowie, Hopefully I can meet a few more Toowoomba Locals too, maybe go for a cruise somewhere. Itching to get her on the road, hopefully will get a roadworthy this week or next. Dave Quote
Crowie55 Posted November 20, 2011 Report Posted November 20, 2011 Nice score dude it's a cool little rig Quote

Autosol has good reports with polishing up chrome :D Sorry! I forgot to say thanks about the Autosol and that you like the car :) Nice score dude it's a cool little rig Yeah it really is! It might not be the cleanest or fastest Ke30 but I can't help but look at it and admire it. Want to run over to my grandparents and start it up and look at it all the time. (I think it sounds awesome heh :lolcry: ) I'd like to put one of those cams that Zowie & Luke put in the Panelvan, though it would be way to crazy for daily duties. Thanks, Dave Edited November 20, 2011 by Stenzel Quote
towe001 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Keeping an eye on this thread :P Glad she's gone to another good home :2thumbs: Quote
Stenzel Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 (edited) Should be getting a Roadworthy next week at work, will update most likely then. Going to give the engine bay a clean on the weekend and have a look at the suspension/brakes etc. Also Towe, Plan on selling any spare parts that you had in your older posts? Specificly looking for the Badges and the strips around the doors. Thanks, Dave Edited November 21, 2011 by Stenzel Quote
towe001 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 :ninja: By the photos your just up the road from the Middle Ridge Village shops. Your just around the corner from me Also Towe, Plan on selling any spare parts that you had in your older posts? Specificly looking for the Badges and the strips around the doors. Thanks, Dave I have a crap load of stuff that i need to shift. I'd have to have a dig around everything to see what badges i have, but i don't have the strips apart from the chrome strips that go on the sills below the doors. Quote
Stenzel Posted November 21, 2011 Author Report Posted November 21, 2011 Yeah, That's my grandparents place, don't know how you could live on that street with hoons going past all night :no2: Would be interested in the above maybe even 5k parts in the next couple of weeks.. Thanks, Dave Quote
towe001 Posted November 21, 2011 Report Posted November 21, 2011 Don't have much 5k stuff. Just the flywheel, a carby, its hat thing so the filter can be placed elsewhere and a brand new head gasket (and a 4k gasket kit). Yep, and most of those hoons are at the other end of the street. Quote

They love it up and down Hume st. Used to see them all the time, like our good mate with the red '70 :angrybird:. Never mind. Edited November 21, 2011 by ae824ate Quote
