can anyone suggest any reason as to why my fan belt would keep breaking? 3 in the last 2 mnths.

na ive done a few nw so know how tight to make it

some knob head probably keeps cutting them when you're not looking

are your pullies aligned? KE10, KE20, KE30/55 and KE70 all have different water pump shaft lengths. Each has their own pulley with the right offset to line the belt up.

What do they look like afterwards?? Clean break across the whole belt? Stripped apart down one side? Inside face worn and polished? They're not meant to touch the bottom of the pulley, so if any pulley is shiny at the bottom it is too worn & the stress on the belt is wrong.

Is the alt pulley spinning free?? Could have a bearing that is failing
