TOMsGPTurbo Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 (edited) Hey guys my rollas engine appears to have a fuel blockage, it refuses to start. But if i leave it for 10mins and go to start it, it kicks and nearly starts ups up. Things that I tried: * changed fuel pump * changed fuel filter * changed fuel rail * changed fuel Other stuff i have tried: * Cleaned out air intake to turbo * cleaned bov * cleaned intercooler (cleaned out to see if there was an blockages - I found a some kind of alien moth egg :blinks: ) Edited December 17, 2011 by TOMsGPTurbo Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Sure someone on here had the same issue, it was something in the fuel tank, blocked the fuel flow. Leave it, the thing blocking would float away but when running would eventually get sucked up to block again. Maybe? Quote
Jono.C Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 Your injectors aren't blocked or warn out? Just try and narrow down how far the fuel gets before it blocks etc. Like you should be able to atleast see if it gets to the fuel filter Quote
altezzaclub Posted December 18, 2011 Report Posted December 18, 2011 Check compressions and timing. Sadly I spent months chasing the same problem on the Altezza without checking the compression as I don't own a long-necked compression gauge. When we checked they were at 30psi. There were carbon deposits holding the valves open. Quote
TOMsGPTurbo Posted December 21, 2011 Author Report Posted December 21, 2011 Thanks for the insights Quote
