eh strnager things have happened dude, just think, its like 2 4cylinder engines strapped together.

i don't know how increasing inertia increases weight, as inertia is The tendency of a body to resist acceleration; the tendency of a body at rest to remain at rest or of a body in straight line motion to stay in motion in a straight line unless acted on by an outside force. maybe u mean increasing weight will increase inertia?

i don't know if increasing track will help, on the front it prob would coz ud get more leverage, but thats alota work to do that me thinks...

i don't really know all that much about the physics behind drifting, but I'm gonna say right from the start i think there are better choices out there, but everyone says that about the 1ggte ke70 i just bought, and i ignored them, so hey your call, id love to see her up and running :)

thats a ford 460, it was up on here recently, was for sale on ebay, ill find the link

id be keen to see your prelim. build details, just for interests sake

cheers

is is white by any chance?...with the sloped headlights? (83 isn't it?)

i'd like to see how it handles, you're only at yattala, i'm at murwillumbah (for me thats close)

any chance we arrange a meet before the 10th? i'm going back down to Warwick...

increased weight=increased inertia...did i say it the other way around?...heheh...

shes not running at the moment, am in need of an exhaust and turbos, and the bloke I'm thinking of buying the twins off isnt sure if he wants to sell....so if its up and running b4 the 10th feel free to come thrash it round my yard, but she wont be registered, so its prob not too practical

warwick aint far anyway, used to play school sport out there, hour and a half by bus...can hit 200 on the roads out there so lets call it an hours drive :) once i get my license and her up and running and on the road we can organise a get together, but id be thinking the 10th of feb more than the 10th of january, and even then i may be pushing it...sorry dude :(

hahaha!

thats the exact car i was thinking of, i saw it on this site:

if it's not the same car i'd be surprised...anyway...you wanna put twins on it??? its a 2L y'know...have you located a manifold for the twins?...if you're going to get on fabricated, try and keep the pipe diameter no bigger than port size...maybe even a tiny bit smaller...

well i guess there isn't much point me comin up if its just rolling...very nice car tho!

hey dude thats an awesome link, tells me a bit more about the car, thanks for that :(

yeah a 1ggte runs stock twin turbos, ill get the manifold with the turbos, 150 the guy wants if he sells them

yeah dude thanks, ill let u know if i get it running by some stroke of luck :)

hmm ive had enough trouble trying to talk dad into letting me go with the stockos

other than more boost and more room whats the benefit of a single?

i thought they used the twins because they spool up quicker so theres less lag.

plus I'm only 17 so i don't think i need crazy mofo power

i know its bloody awesome aye!

but I'm not sure whether i should use that shell and implant all my stereo and such, or swap the runnng gear to mine, because the car the engines currently in has rust starting to creep in, and mine is 100% rust free due to 9 months hard work

thats what i was thinking, and twin turbo sounds so much better to all the tossers that don't know anything about cars i.e. most of my friends
