i couldn't be bothered reading what i wrote above haha, but the grills don't fit, the rad support panel is different, and the rt81 mounts different near the guards, and they are different shape around the guards, and the bonnet trim is different

 

yep, 81 grill curves round the sides and is set further into the guards. Still got it sitting in the shed gathering dust if anyone wants it. Ended up pulling mine off and cleaning it up and painting it. Looks like new(ish)

did a few little bits to the old girl today, i thought id better put a muffler on it, she was a bit loud with a straight through muffler and a hotdog, its pretty quiet now but still has a note to it, i can hear myself think now haha, also i painted my SE badge, looks great i think

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ha! The badge looks good. What diameter pipe are you using? And how many mufflers (assuming two)?

thanks man,it has the standard pipe with the standard useless muffler at the front, back to just behind the diff with a muffler that works, back it is like 2", gonna make a full exhuast one day but this is good enough for now, not cop bait haha

I put a new rear muffler and tail pipe on mine and so much quieter!

haha mines quiet a bit louder than standard, but before it was rediculous haha, could hear me across the town, which isn't good when you wanna get a little naughty in the wet or up some "unsealed roads" if you know what i mean haha, so much nicer to drive now

Haha yeah, unsealed roads is about the only place the little ronas will do anything ;)

mine twins in second in the wet, and sometimes even through 3rd haha, my rear tyres are not good in the wet though, but i know how it is so doesn't matter

It's been almost 4 years since mine was on the road, and I wasn't much of a hoon back then, but mine does cut sick ringies on the dirt

I've never even gotten wheel spin in mine. I was always too scared id break the old gearbox hahaha. With the new one I have no excuses though lol. I still don't wanna break anything

i rev and dump mine in the dry it spins in 1st, but it axle tramps alot though, but havn't broken anything and thats with 225's haha, i do it quiet often, and if a cane it into second it chirps haha
