Well, it worked. This topic will continue for anyone to post upcoming events in, RollaClub related or not. To my knowledge the next event is the cruise for Daven on Sunday 23 April, followed the next weekend by the next Hidden Valley race meet on Sunday 30 April.

For those of you that don't notice in the Automotive Discussion section, there is now video available of Lola racing through the hairpin on the second or third lap of the fourth race on Sunday March 19. She sounds sweet, but you can see how shitty my cornering line is. The link is below, thanks to baboon from BoostCruising (don't know your real name) for posting the video.

Just been chatting in one of the forums on AE86 Driving Club (which I only joined today) and have decided that RollaClub should have another motorkhana day. The last one didn't have a very good turn out and was hampered by the rain, so hopefully this one will turn out better.

 

I'm thinking the Queen's Birthday long weekend would be a good time to have it. I haven't set a day, but we've got Saturday, Sunday and Monday to choose from (the 10th, 11th & 12th of June).

 

Anyone else interested? I'll be bringing Lola along this time, so I'll be able to have a proper play - read: REAR WHEEL DRIVE = FUN!!!

Already had interest from PLACEBO (AE86 Driving Club) & devo_r33gtr (BoostCruising).

We've also had interest expressed from omy (AE86 Driving Club). Anthony (in the blue LC) will almost definitely attend as he'll take any chance he can get to try and beat me.

I'd be up for it providing I have a new clutch and some stopping ability. However I would have no idea what I was doing on the course... Safety barriers may be required! :P

We'll be out at Hughes WWII airstrip again. You may hit some trees if you get a bit silly, but more likely you'll just go into a bit of light scrub. Plus you shouldn't be getting out of first gear, so it's not like it's high speed stuff anyway.

imnost - the NT section has been a little quiet of late, so don't be too disappointed if no-one or not many show. Everyone seems busy with school, work, or other commitments. I'm going to plan a cruise for sometime in either late August or sometime in September though. Should be good.
