ive just bought a granny spec ke70 from jordanrolla

 

and the issue i have is i have all the flat front stuff to do it and i know how,,,,,,,,but

 

i sold my mate my old flat front and we are going to put the slant front on it will this work without too much modding?

 

has anyone done it before?

I can't quite work out if you're going slant to flat or vice versa, but the real challenge is the head light mounts. You'll either have to make up some mounts for swap the whole radiator support panel.

The bonnets are different and not interchangeable, the rest is bolt up bar the lights which take a bit if thinking.

^^ As above... Bonnet, guards and bumper swap over, headlight mounts are different.

 

The proper way to do it is to use the entire radiator support panel from the flat front, which requires some indelicate removal of spot welds from the donor car and some welding to install it into yours.

what we where going to do was swap the fronts on our cars i sold my mate a flat front and i bought a slanty we where just going to do the old switcha-roo :D

but from what ive found elsewhere is that it is really really hard to make the rad support of the flat front to fit the slanty lights

 

 

 

sigh :( i may just leave the granny rolla a slanty its not that bad i guess sorta growing on me
