July 26, 201214 yr comment_617819 Out of interest. I jut bought a KE25. (actually the exact one of Topgear Aus.) and I being that old Toyota hasnt stated ont eh build plate the type of diff is has. Can anyone verify the type of diff that would be in it. I'm suggesting that it is the "banjo/jap" type. Is that the same as U-Series Toyota diff? Could someone post photos of the diff or the differences between th old rolla diffs. cheers Report
July 26, 201214 yr comment_617986 from memory if it has bolts on the back it is a baby borg warner and if not it is a jap diff.. ke20 is also narrower than pretty much anything else.. Report
July 27, 201214 yr Author comment_618002 do ke30 have u series? if so would cutting down axles to fit into ke20/25 u series work as a good way of putting 4x114.3 on the rear? Report
July 27, 201214 yr comment_618058 Yep that works. Only need to machine off a few mil for it to work. Can only use jab axels in a jap diff or borgy axels in a borgy diff. Report
July 31, 201214 yr comment_618845 how do you tell the difference between the jap and borgy diffs Report
