KE25 Punk
Out of interest. I jut bought a KE25. (actually the exact one of Topgear Aus.) and I being that old Toyota hasnt stated ont eh build plate the type of diff is has. Can anyone verify the type of diff that would be in it. I'm suggesting that it is the "banjo/jap" type. Is that the same as U-Series Toyota diff? Could someone post photos of the diff or the differences between th old rolla diffs. cheers
crunk81us
from memory if it has bolts on the back it is a baby borg warner and if not it is a jap diff.. ke20 is also narrower than pretty much anything else..
KE25 Punk
do ke30 have u series? if so would cutting down axles to fit into ke20/25 u series work as a good way of putting 4x114.3 on the rear?
coln72
Yep that works. Only need to machine off a few mil for it to work. Can only use jab axels in a jap diff or borgy axels in a borgy diff.

KE25 Punk
well my diff does not have a back plate like borgy diff. My diff looks like mini T-series
