this is very true, i did some reseach on it when it looked like they were going to take it. and you could always say it didn't have the head but then they question you on the fact that i was trying to get rego'd, without a head?

in that case you say the head on the motor it came with was shagged and you and a mate installed a second hand head and took the old head to a scrap yard. Best of luck in a shitty situation, a mate of mine bought a VL from Vic once, drove it back to qld to find out she was HOT TO TROT so he lost the 5k he paid for it plus the time and effort of flying to vic and driving back to qld. People suck

spoke to my slow working copper friend, he's going to clear the engine to me, yeha, just a matter of when now, should be within the week. oh and now that the roadwothy is out of date, have to get that and temp rego again.

yeehaa, the cop called me yesterday. he finally cleared the engine to me, but not only did he clear it he spoke to the guy that had the engine stolen and it turns out the guy wanted money for the engine after 11 years, so the copper taiked him out of it for me

 

should be on the road in two weeks, so people on the mornington penisula watch out bright yellow blur :lmao: :)
