Te70 Front?

Hey all I’ve got an interesting question that hopefully you guys will have an answer to.

I have a KE70 4K and I’m in the process of a fairly major restoration, I’m planning a 3S W55 Tarago diff (may attempt an IRS set up later).

But something I’ve been toying with is a TE70 front clip i really want to do something different not that there is anything wrong with the look of a flat front, i just really enjoy being an (individual) some say lol.

So does anyone know of any parts in AUS? There is plenty internationally but postage is going to kill me :S

From what i can see the bonnets look the same so hopefully i will only need guards, lights, grill and probably rad support to do it properly. Can anyone confirm this?

Finally opinions! What does everyone think?

Thanks Rolla club community Matt.

I believe the TE panles don't fit right at the doors. Second time in 2 days someone has asked.

Whats wrong with a car looking like the car it is supposed to be. There are no less than 6 panel arrangements for a ke70.

1. Pano front - Comes on 80-82 vans. Has chrome bumpers n all.

2. Pano front with the big lights n small grill - Comes on overseas sedans -

3. Flat front - same as all ke70s have in aus pre 1983.

4. Slanty front - same as all ke70/ae71 after 1983.

5. Quad light front - From overseas models like E30 with the 4 lights.

6. CE70 front - The diesel wagons had a different panel, lights and grill to other models. You really don't see it much.

missed one matt.

Late flat front, bigger head lights, smaller grill, with either chrome or plastic bumpers, late tail lights.

Almost like a T18 but it's a ke70.

I've seen 2 in Brisbane, but that was years ago, imported privately.

Only place i know to get parts would be NZ.
