I want to remove the gutters off the car to repair the rust i have in the rear quater window

Just woundering how to go about it?

They kinda are but they are a separte panel that runs around the roof

I'm pretty sure the gutters are the two edges of the side and roof panels welded together to form the gutter.

Old hotrod trick with removing the gutters

The grinder pikkie is gold! just cut em bak flush three inches or so at a time and reweld the gap n grind, ONLY three inches at a time,

or the roof can buckle and turn to jelly
