March 20, 201313 yr comment_650842 sounds like a long shot but what about Quik-steel?? big tube, kneed it up, roll it around a roughend spoke and press in to cone shape on a roughend face of the rim. that stuff is strong as frozen shit and cheap. if it reduces the amount of spokes moving by a degree it has to be an improvement. no idea how well it would work but no harm in trying. silvery/grey looking colour too Report

March 21, 201313 yr Author comment_650943 used to use similar stuff in the textile industry years ago. The fabric would fail before the glue.
