just wondering if anyone has done an engine conversion with an 18R in a ke35 and how hard the swap was?

I wouldn't bother. There's faaaaaaar better conversions to do.

 

Even if you have a free engine it's still not worth it.

Agreed, there are much better engine choices out there. End of the day the money you would have spent to do the conversion could have net'd a far better outcome with a different engine choice.

 

18rc's are not very powerful, speaking from experience. Maybe if you wanted a bit better pulling power if you had a trailer on the back.

motor parts available for 22r ;). hence my decision from 18r to 22r.
