Hey guys I just bought a ke70 but the front bumper on it doesn't fit right, I was told it because the bumper is off a ke71 or ae71 maybe not sure, all i wanted to know is, is it just a different bumper skin or do i need the metal reinforcement also?

Essentially for ke70s n australia there is the slanty front, and the flat front. which use different bumpers and the steel bit is different also.

 

(there is also the panel van which uses a different bumper again, not sure if the steel is different though)

Is the flatfront mudguard stamped at an angle like this to match the bumper??

 

My slanty bumper looks like that and the guard indent also slopes forward as it goes down.

it is but the bar doesnt meet up with the body in front of the grill

 

It's the wrong bar for that car, while the main bolts will line up it will look out of place as it won't line up or tie in with the surrounding panels and pressings.

 

A flat front bar will fix that easily once you find one.... Not many wreckers in the Northern suburbs will have one though.
